Alden Rents is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a variety of heavy equipment and attachments used in our rental fleet.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment and attachments.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on rental equipment.
- Prepare equipment for customer rentals by ensuring it is clean, safe, and ready for operation.
- Inspect equipment upon return and identify any required repairs or maintenance.
- Complete hydraulic repairs and service on excavators and related equipment.
- Perform service calls while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Keep the mechanic shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Wash and detail equipment as required.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in the heavy equipment or mechanical repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and applications.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
