Job Summary:
We're looking for a dedicated and friendly door Attendant to join our team. As the first point of contact for patrons, you'll be responsible for collecting cover charges, giving wrist bands , managing the entrance, and providing excellent customer service. You'll also be in charge of checking coats and personal belongings. Your goal is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons visiting our venue.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and depart, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Collect cover charges from patrons and provide tickets or wristbands as needed
- Check identification to ensure patrons meet the age requirement
- Manage the flow of patrons entering the venue
- Check coats, bags, and personal belongings in a secure and efficient manner
- Return checked items to patrons upon exit and / or during smoke breaks.
- Maintain a clean and organized coat check area and other areas of the venue with wait staff
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron inquiries
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons
Requirements :
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Reliable and punctual attendance - is a MUST
- Preferred Qualifications but not necessarily required (training available) :
- Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., door attendant, coat check, hospitality)
