**Position Overview:**
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary creativity, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality in all kitchen operations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Assist Executive Chef with conducting regular menu costing and pricing analysis to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Manage inventory levels and place orders with suppliers as needed to ensure adequate stock levels in collaboration with executive chef.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef/Owner to execute the culinary vision and uphold the overall brand identity of the establishment.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong culinary skills.
- Proficiency in menu costing, inventory management, and ordering processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, staff, and management.
- Comfortable working in a small kitchen environment and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the overall success of the team.
