Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is vital in fostering a love for language and culture among our young learners, contributing to their overall educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging French language lessons tailored to elementary students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning.
- Incorporate technology and innovative instructional strategies into lessons.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Promote cultural awareness and appreciation of French-speaking communities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Honours);
- Proven experience teaching French at the elementary level.
- A member in good standing with the OCT.
- A minimum of five years classroom experience teaching French.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
