Job Summary
The Stock Manager is responsible for managing the flow of goods and inventory within the warehouse, ensuring full traceability, accuracy, and availability of stock.
This role leads and supervises the stock management team while ensuring operational performance, compliance with procedures, and alignment with customer requirements, financial objectives, and service levels.

Management Responsibilities (Activity Manager Level)
- Translate performance targets into operational plans and expectations
- Define and enforce rules to achieve financial objectives, including budget management
- Implement structured routines to monitor, measure, and control operational and financial performance
- Align team activities with company strategy, mission, and objectives
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and engagement
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Analyze team performance, define development plans, and lead hiring strategies
- Foster collaboration across departments, teams, and sites
General Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control
- Ensure full traceability of products (availability, conformity, expiry dates, dangerous goods, etc.)
- Plan warehouse capacity and manage inventory levels
- Organize and supervise cycle counts, annual inventories, and stock audits
- Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis for stock discrepancies and operational issues
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
- Ensure high service levels and operational efficiency
Customer & KPI Management
- Collect and analyze customer and supplier requirements
- Identify risks (e.g., occupancy rate, stock shortages) and escalate when needed
- Monitor, calculate, and analyze KPIs and SLAs related to inventory management
- Propose and implement improvement actions based on performance results
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain compliance with internal quality, safety, and operational standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
- Post-secondary education (3–5 years) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or related field
OR equivalent work experience
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in stock management, inventory control, or similar role
- Experience in warehouse or logistics environments required
