Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders for beverages
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Follow all food handling, food service, and food preparation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
Skills:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in bartending or beverage service
- Strong knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in order taking and cash handling
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
