Full time | Mid-Senior Level | Reports to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
Hybrid (2-days in-office requirement)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Senior Risk Analyst is a key member of the Risk Management team. In this role, you will identify, assess, and communicate potential risks that could impact the organization's objectives.
Provide guidance on a range of risk related matters and design and implement risk reporting and key analytics to support the overall Risk Management function for the Bank with a focus on the Bank’s lending products spanning the entire credit life cycle – originations, portfolio management, collections, and fraud mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement risk reporting across the credit life cycle, using analytics and data to support the Banks policies, regulatory requirements, risk strategy, and business decisions and objectives.
- Collaborate with team members on the enhancement and utilization of a datamart.
- Work closely with the CRO to create Board Reports and communications to Regulators.
- Present to the executive team and extended management team periodically on matters relating to risk management
- Collaborate with various departments (IT, Finance, Operations, Compliance etc.) and data owners to create insights using analytical tools to enhance Risk Management.

- You are an industry professional with an Undergraduate degree or technical certificate. As a professional, you have 3+ years of relevant analytical work experience, sound knowledge of the financial industry, risk processes and methodologies, and excellent analytical, judgement and decision-making skills.

- You know that attention to detail and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information matters.
- As a creative problem solver, you know how to analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions.
- You have excellent MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and a strong command of SQL, VBA and/or other programming languages.
