Travel Professional, Guest Relations
DeNure Tours is looking for a full-time guest service and sales agent to work with our team to generate successful travel bookings for all touring divisions. The ideal candidate is customer service driven, with an ability to listen, while providing quality answers to product questions and effective communication via telephone, email or in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous learning of tour products offered by family brands of DeNure Tours
- Answer telephone calls, respond to guest questions, and promote discussion of various tour products while effectively finalizing booking details including DeNure Tours’ Connections Program, pre and post travel hotel options, airline / cruise details.
- Understand, explain, and sell Travel Insurance options.
- Assemble and distribute ticket package itineraries
- Communicate with industry partners: travel agencies, hotels, taxi companies etc.
- Assist the Sales team and Operations department, as needed
Qualifications
- Post Secondary education either college or university is preferred
- TICO Certification, while preferred, will be required within 1 month of the hire date (assistance provided)
- Sales experience is required, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
- Detail orientated and successful at multi-tasking
- Proficiency in office software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Understand how to safely navigate websites, have an organized approach to electronic filing systems, and be comfortable using a sales order entry system
- Professional and friendly English language proficiency, both spoken and written
- Bi-lingual preferred with French or Spanish an asset
- Travel experience is an asset
Working Conditions and Compensation
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, normally between 8:30 to 4:30pm
- Friendly and flexible office environment in Lindsay
- Non-union, Federally regulated working environment

- Wages starting at $21.00 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications
