What you will do:
- Assist the department manager with the professional development of team members with training, coaching, continuous improvement lessons learned and process improvement support
- Involved in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and work instructions for the department
- Special projects, as required.
- Assume Program Management responsibility for select programs
- Support the sales team in the maintenance of data to be used in the preparation of reports necessary to meet contractual obligations.
- Work collaboratively with internal resources to continuously develop and improve processes that accurately identify client expectations and ensure costs are contained and within budget expectations.
- Initiate, plan, execute and close essential project functions related to scope, time, cost, quality communication, risk and procurement.
- Initiate and proactively follow up work done by the project specific functional groups including but not limited to sales, graphic design, estimating, permitting, production, installation and accounting.
- In consultation with the Account Manager, establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers through frequent oral and written communication.
- Create, monitor and update project plans which define the required processes / activities of various functional groups to achieve customer deliverables.
- Work with certain key stakeholders to ensure timely approvals are achieved. Stakeholders may include landlords, site supervisors, project managers and franchisees.
- Monitor and control program costs associated with non-recurring engineering activities during the Design and Development phases of the program.
- Always ensure a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate respect for all legislated employment, plant, health, and safety standards.

What we need:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field, or certificate and equivalent working experience preferred
- Project Management expertise and formal project management methodologies
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the sign or related industry, 2 years in a leadership role
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional attention to detail and reliability while exhibiting great creativity, energy, and resourcefulness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, handle multiple deadlines and work with frequent interruptions or changes in priority
- Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings
- A high-level of personal and professional confidence permitting him/her to interface effectively with a broad array of organizations, institutions, and individuals
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and familiarity with Epicor preferred
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
- Technical aptitude in Construction an asset
