Part-Time In-Home Physiotherapist Wanted
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Physiotherapist to work with a 31-year-old male living with spastic cerebral palsy in a private home setting In Beaumaris neighborhood NW Edmonton.
About the Client
The client is a 31-year-old adult male with spastic cerebral palsy who is looking to improve his mobility, strength, and overall physical function. The goal of therapy is to help him regain mobility, increase muscle mass, improve flexibility, and enhance his quality of life through a personalized treatment program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy and guided exercise programs.
- Focus on mobility, strength training, stretching, balance, and functional movement.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate the client and family/caregivers on exercises and strategies to support ongoing progress.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and treatment records.
Qualifications
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing
- Experience working with adults with neurological conditions, cerebral palsy, or complex physical disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of strength training, mobility restoration, and spasticity management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home environment.
