Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Event Chefs to join our culinary team for the RBC Canadian Open form June 8 to June 14. This role is responsible for food preparation, cooking, presentation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety in a fast-paced event environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and event management.
- Support setup, service, and breakdown of culinary operations as required.
- Adapt to changing operational needs throughout the event.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef, Line Cook, or in a similar culinary role.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the event site.
Requirements
- Must be available for all scheduled event dates.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must adhere to all event uniform and grooming standards.
- Must have previous Chef experience.
