Trailer Washer / General Labourer – Brandon Yard
We are seeking reliable, hardworking Trailer Washers / General Labourers to join our team at the Brandon Yard. This role is responsible for washing, cleaning, and preparing trailers for service, along with general yard upkeep and support duties. This is a hands-on position suited to someone comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Shifts Available:
Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts available. Full-time positions, with specific shift assigned based on operational needs. Weekend and overtime availability may be required during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean the interior and exterior of trailers using pressure washers and cleaning equipment
- Inspect trailers for cleanliness standards and report any damage or maintenance issues
- Sweep, sanitize, and prep trailers for loading according to food-grade/sanitation requirements
- Perform general yard duties such as moving equipment, organizing supplies, and maintaining a clean work area
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Assist with minor trailer maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate wash logs/records for each trailer serviced
- Support other yard staff and drivers as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in trailer washing, janitorial, or general labour is an asset (not mandatory — training provided)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding sanitation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license considered an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
