As a Contact Tracer Assistant with VCH you will:
Provide administrative and clerical assistance in support of COVID-19 contact tracing by contacting individuals via telephone, text, Skype and Zoom, following established scripts, guidelines, decision making tools, and policies and procedures.
Compose and word process correspondence.
Maintain and monitor client charts.
Receive and input client data into a variety of health data systems.
Provide support in clinical settings by maintaining various inventories of medical/clinic/ program supplies.
Set up filing systems; gather and compile statistics.

Education & Experience
Grade 12, completion of an Office Administration Certificate and one (1) year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
Ability to operate related work
Ability to organize and prioritize
Ability to type 60 wpm
Business writing skills
Knowledge of general office procedures
Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients
Knowledge of medical terminology
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check
