Job Summary:
We are seeking a Long Haul Driver for AB-BC route to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Duties:
- Operate and drive tractor-trailer combination vehicles on long-haul routes
- Transport goods to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines
Experience:
- Prior experience in commercial driving or freight transportation
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and forklifts
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel extensively
