About Us:
The Olde Stone Cottage is a well-established, family-friendly pub in Scarborough known for hearty food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a loyal local crowd. We're looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us deliver consistent, high-quality dishes to our guests.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items to our quality and presentation standards
- Work efficiently during busy lunch & dinner services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Follow recipes and portion standards to ensure consistency
- Assist with prep and station setup
- Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow cooks to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Help maintain a positive, respectful kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of line cook experience
- Ability to work calmly in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
