Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various manual tasks on-site, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, and general labor work within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling materials
- Support carpentry work, including framing, trimming, and basic structural tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques as required for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints to assist in project execution
- Conduct general handyman tasks as needed to support project completion
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction sites, or carpentry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic construction principles is a plus
- Handyman experience or familiarity with caulking and other finishing techniques is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Experience working with construction materials and adhering to safety standards is preferred
