Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a small pub environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring all food safety standards are met to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food service procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience is appreciated but not necessar. We are willing to train the right candidates
- Food industry knowledge including cooking techniques and food safety practices is essential
