Job Summary:
Precise ParkLink is currently seeking a Production Associate (Signs & Graphics ) to join our in-house digital print shop. Reporting directly to the Sign Shop Manager, this role will support the design and production for all parking facility signage needs.
Location: 100 Floral Parkway, North York, ON M6L 2C5. This position is in-office
Employment: Full-time, in-office
Hours: 8:00a.m - 4:30p.m
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Create and edit vector artwork (custom signs, decals, rate cards), working with reference standards, templates and design guidelines to meet internal stakeholders’ needs
- Process work orders through order management system and prepare print-ready files for production
- Provide cost estimates to internal stakeholders
- Hands-on work: Perform laminating, trimming and mounting on various sign substrates
- Fulfill development timelines ensuring tasks and orders are delivered on time
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary training in Graphic Design, Print Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of Graphic Design fundamentals including typography, layout and colour theory
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign with the ability to accurately set up files for print production
- Strong understanding of prepress and production workflows
- Comfortable working in a Mac OS environment
- Previous experience in a print production environment
