Police Report Entry Clerk - Part-time

Candidates must have: Secondary School Graduation Diploma, along with 1 – 3 years experience; accuracy and speed in keyboarding (must have a minimum of 60 w.p.m) with excellent spelling and grammar skills. Must be able to work under pressure and be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and conflicting demands. Candidates must have advanced computer skills in software programs including: Windows, Microsoft Word, GroupWise e-mail. It would be an asset to have knowledge of C.P.I.C., NICHE, LAN Access, and iManager.

Candidates must have: excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task; and ability to prioritize work assignments. Must have the ability to read and comprehend written data, memos, notes, and verbal instructions and able to communicate information clearly to others with courtesy, tact and professionalism and work well in a team environment.

NOTE: CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE AND WILLING TO WORK ALL SHIFTS WITHIN 24 HOUR PERIOD INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

The recruiting process will include an interview, testing and background check.
