Position Information

Summary of Responsibilities

Oversee all marketing functions relating to the ATV, Side-by-Side & Snowmobile product lines. Work closely with the Motorsports and Snowmobile Product Planning staff to ensure marketing activities complement product positioning. Coordinate and execute special B2B projects as required. Demonstrate and embody The Yamaha Way in all daily activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Create and develop market outreach materials for ATV, ROV and SM product lines. Print, TV, radio, web ad creative. Point of sale kits, brochures, direct mail pieces and geo-targeted emails using the My Yamaha database. Develop annual media relations campaigns including press releases, kits and media events.
Key contributor to the efforts and responsibilities of the North American SMB marketing team, including photo, video and copywriting asset requirements. Maintain a 'global' direction for our marketing efforts and complete tasks as assigned for both US and Canadian markets.
Coordinate all marketing asset development of major business to business projects. Oversee and plan logistics of initiatives in consultation with partners and Yamaha staff, for example the Deerhurst Branding Project and Toyota partnerships. Work closely with staff to ensure sales targets and brand milestones are reached.
Generate and oversee corporate website content related to ATV, ROV and SM product lines for Canada and, in some cases, US. Update media assets and social media new model information to provide timely, relevant information to Yamaha dealers/customers.
Oversee and coordinate sponsorships and promotions with industry media partners, and maintain media fleet unit booking, licensing, use and sale. Represent Yamaha at various ATV, ROV and SM organizations. Ensure current industry knowledge and conduct periodic competitor analysis.
Contribute and assist events coordinator(s) with planning of corporate ATV, ROV and SM shows, demo tours, and special events, including dealer conferences. Participate in event debrief and improvement meetings.

Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements

Degree/Diploma: Post-Secondary (University degree preferred)
Programof Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism
Years of Experience: 3 -5 years
