Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma Therapist who is fluent in Spanish to provide specialized mental health services. The ideal candidate will work closely with diverse populations, in a clinical setting. This role involves delivering trauma-informed care, supporting patient recovery, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment. Experience in hospital environments, pediatrics, and patient care is highly valued. The Trauma Therapist will play a vital role in helping clients process traumatic experiences and improve their overall well-being.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy to adults presenting with:
- Complex developmental and relational trauma
- Attachment injuries
- Sexual, emotional, and physical trauma
- Nervous system dysregulation and dissociation
Our work is rooted in trauma-informed and attachment-based care, with emphasis on:
- EMDR
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Somatic and Sensorimotor approaches
- Emotion-Focused Therapy
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
Qualifications
Required
- Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Psychotherapy, or Social Work
- Minimum 2 years of psychotherapy experience in trauma treatment such as EMDR/IFS or other trauma treatment

Clinical Experience
- Strong interest in or experience working with complex trauma
· Proven experience providing therapy to adults using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT)
- EFT, or somatic therapies
- Strong documentation skills in accordance with college standards
Preferred Assets
- Advanced training in EMDR, IFS, somatic, or sensorimotor therapy
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in using in working with Complex Trauma treatment
· Strong interest in working with Complex Trauma treatment
· Group counselling experience
- Registration across multiple Canadian provinces (MSW)
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Jane App software

Compensation is based on experience, training, and caseload volume.
