Reporting directly to the Team Lead, EZ Medical Leadership, with day-to-day direction from the Zone Clinical Department Head (ZCDH) within the Neurosciences Program at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Administrative Support V will provide senior level administrative support to the ZCDH. This position requires the incumbent to be comfortable working with minimal supervision and direction. The main focus of this role is to ensure the ZCDH's portfolio delivery/development are aligned with physician requirements and priorities. This may include: calendar management, attend and complete minutes for various committees, periodic reviews, coordinating and preparing correspondence on behalf of the ZCDH, booking travel, expense claims, event planning, assisting with recruitment, coordinating various administrative projects, and other duties as required by the ZCDH to ensure deliverables are being met. As the first contact within the ZCDH's office, this position engages with a variety of key stakeholders both internal and external to AHS. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are vital in this role. The Admin V will be exposed to sensitive and confidential information and therefore, requires a high level of discretion.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Current relevant experience working in a healthcare environment. Experience working with a senior leader.
