Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and efficient Cook to support our culinary team with daily production. This role includes ingredient preparation, recipe execution, portioning for service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, and dressings based on daily production lists
- Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines
- Assist with batch preparation for catering orders and cafeteria service
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Label, date, and store prepped items correctly
- Support cooks and chefs as needed throughout the day
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, organized, and committed to producing quality work
