Job Description – Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Countryside Care – Home Care Services is a private, locally owned agency serving Huron and Perth County. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable PSWs who want flexible, meaningful work and the opportunity to build strong connections with their clients.
We focus on one-on-one care with guaranteed minimum 3-hour visits, allowing you the time to provide thoughtful, unrushed support.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support mobility, transfers, and daily routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and assist with grocery shopping
- Accompany clients to appointments (if required)
- Observe and report changes in client condition

What You Bring
- PSW certificate or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with seniors or home care (an asset)
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
- Ability to work independently with good judgment
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Work Location: In clients’ homes (Huron & Perth County)
