Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction, maintenance, and operational tasks across our projects. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work setting while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to ensure a safe working environment
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials, digging, or moving supplies
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
- Assist in setting up work areas, including assembling scaffolding or temporary structures
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Contribute to maintaining organized work sites by ensuring tools and materials are stored properly
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or manual labour is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in manual labour roles is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various job site requirements
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
