Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, ensuring proper change is given.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area and dining space, following food handling and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive customer service.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in a bar or casual dining setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and managing tabs accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a lively environment.
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles that demonstrate professionalism and a friendly attitude.
