You are a go-to person for the office staff team, as well as the first person visitors meet when they enter the office. This casual position is available immediately and offers reception coverage while providing support to the office coordinator, finance, and human resources departments.

You will be working with a team of administrative assistants and managerial staff at our provincial office. Conveniently located in the business core of Abbotsford BC, the Bethesda provincial office offers an easy commute within Abbotsford and from neighbouring communities in Langley, Chilliwack, and Mission.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome people to the office and receive/direct phone calls and emails, providing excellent public relations.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail, including newsletters and other communications materials.
- In consultation with the office coordinator, ensure office equipment is maintained and supplies are ordered.
- Coordinate bookings for office space and vehicles.
- Assist with registration for staff training and activities.
- Support the finance department.
- Support the human resources department.
- Create/review/edit forms, reports and other documents.
- Assist with agency functions.
- Provide support with other administrative needs within the agency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong interpersonal skills and at least 2 years of administrative experience.
- Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-directed, intuitive and able to take initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Possession of Canadian, permanent residence or legal working status.
BENEFITS:
- Hiring bonus: $100 at time of hire, another $200 after 1 year of continuous employment and completion of all job requirements.
