Construction Administrative Assistant – Land & Environment

Construction Administrative Assistant – Land & Environment

Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative support for the construction team
Work with land and environmental construction planners to ensure the group has all the administrative assistance, tools and resources required
Continued development, implementation and review of new procedures and best practices
Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Maintain electronic files, uploading, amending and maintaining internal drive files/folder structures
Track documents in the disposition application process
A strong focus will be placed on ensuring documents are obtained as needed in order facilitate more accurate timelines
Assist with completing Temporary Field Authorizations, Temporary Diversion Licenses, and tracking expiries of third party agreements
Acting as a liaison and communicating between land and construction departments, as well as internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance of projects
Input and track projects in Pandell to meet and exceed project goals and objectives
Review and process invoices
Assist field consultants with day-to-day technical queries within scope
Other tasks as assigned or required, general administrative support

Minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Prior use of Pandell is an asset

Knowledge of all areas of surface land administration in Alberta and Pandell program
University or college education or previous office experience an asset
Ability to help groups within the company to solve problems with an end goal of ensuring the company is successful in all aspects of our business
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities completing deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to adapt and quickly respond to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
Enthusiastic, energetic, extremely organized self-starter who works well under minimal supervision with a positive and co-operative attitude
