We are looking for a QA Automation Team Lead to join our team!
Reporting to the Director of QA, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining an automation test infrastructure. You will work with the team of developers and QA Analysts (manual/automation) to design and implement the automation framework for integration testing, build approval and regression testing for web-enabled software and web services.
About the role:
Lead the integration and testing of the payment system
Identifying staffing needs, interviewing, code reviews and mentoring the members of the test team
Experience in creating frameworks from scratch by carefully understand the dev technologies and business type/requirement
Create test plans for existing and new features
Design, develop and integrate automated tests into existing automated testing infrastructure
Ability to collaborate cross-team to recommend improvements to test systems
Promote the use of best practices within the team and make suggestions as necessary to improve the efficiency and quality of the work produced by the team
Evaluate the coverage of existing automated tests and how to improve coverage
Use UI test tools and frameworks to improve automated testing of web interfaces
Report on metrics that assess the quality of software products and software development process
Evaluate and analyze test results for trends or common issues
Strong programming knowledge on object-oriented programming languages like Java
Strong knowledge of writing selenium scripts using Java
Experience automating with Web services (REST and SOAP), GUI, browser testing, POS testing and desktop-based applications
Experience in working with micro services and ability to write automation tests using REST Assured/REST Template libraries
AWS Cloud based testing experience
Experience in automating desktop-based applications using HP UFT
Strong knowledge and proven experience in writing SQL queries using SQL, MySQL
Working experience with mongo DB is a plus
Experience using CI/CD tools like bitbucket, bamboo, jira, GitHub Actions
Knowledge of Springboot and Hibernate is a plus
Proficient with Windows/Linux environments
Hands on experience with tools like Eclipse/Intellij, Postman, Soap UI, Confluence, Putty, GitBash, etc.
Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering along with considerable experience in QA background with automation
5+ years of experience in payment industry
5+ years of experience as a Lead or Manager
10+ years of experience in testing stream
Strong written, oral and comprehensive communication skills
Attention to details
Have excellent time management, task planning and prioritization skills
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to build strong relationship with team members and coworkers
