As Prospect continues to grow, we are seeking an individual to support our project team in the field and in the office in the role of environmental professional, with a focus on biology. This position offers an engaging opportunity for environmental professionals with relevant experience in Northeast BC to support responsible development. Responsibilities
- Communicate with Management and Supervisors
- Review site information, project requests and prepare field files
- Complete pre-construction assessments & reporting
- Bird Surveys & monitoring
- Wildlife & wildlife habitat assessments
- Stream & wetland related assessments
- Environmental Monitoring
- Support in other facets of field work and office work
- Prepare and review reports and appendices for the above noted projects
- Provide review and sign off for reports, as applicable
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant Canadian education (technical diploma or degree)
- Member in good standing with designation in field or training
- Related field experience in Canadian environmental consulting or a related discipline
- Understanding of Canadian environmental regulations applicable to BC environmental consulting
- Excellent field and office skills related to biology assessments
- Technical writing skills
- High competency in suite of office programs
- Adept in mapping software applicable to the industry
- Possess or able to obtain standard safety certifications

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
