Why Work Here?

The culture emphasizes a tight-knit team, friendly and approachable leadership, and a supportive environment where many employees choose to stay long term. There are clear opportunities for advancement
Work Environment
The work environment is a family-owned, industrial sawmill operation with a steady-paced yet laid-back atmosphere. You will work around older-type equipment in a combined indoor and outdoor plant setting where machinery can be loud during operation. Safety is the top priority, followed by production, and the team emphasizes safe work practices at all times. The maintenance team currently includes multiple millwrights, with some employees in training and others approaching retirement, creating a dynamic environment with knowledge sharing and succession opportunities. Shifts typically run Monday to Friday, with flexibility required across day (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.), afternoon (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), and occasional graveyard (10:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m.) shifts.
