Broadway Pharmasave #73 is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English who enjoys helping patients and working in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment.
Position Details
- Part-Time
- 3 to 4 days per week
- Competitive pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and workflow
- Enter and maintain patient information accurately
- Prepare and package prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription filing and inventory tasks
- Process billing and adjudication through third-party insurers
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with general inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Support daily pharmacy operations and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience preferred
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software required
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pharmacy Assistant certification is an asset but not required
