As the Business consultant, you will lead the clients and delivery team in through workshops, discovery session and business process and solution designs. You are the business SME that will help and guide our clients in designing solutions that will incorporate industry best practices.
As an expert Fashion Retail Business consultant, it's imperative that you have worked in retail, preferably in apparel, footwear, accessories, in different roles that have progressed to merchandise planning, store planning, merchant or buyer role or manager within these departments. Without this experience, we will not be able to consider your application.
Previous Retail experience (minimum 3 years) as a Merchandiser, Merchandise Planner, Assistant Merchandiser or relevant Retail experience with an IT Solution Provider as a Business Analyst – ideally in the areas of Merchandise Planning, Forecasting, Allocation, and Replenishment. Sound understanding of retail maths & terminology.
Good interpersonal/communication skills combined with an ability to demonstrate solutions to new or potential customers.
Able to understand technical issues and apply the understanding to problem diagnosis
Highly numerate, logical & methodical, with a great attention to detail.
Strives to achieve high standards.
Able to work independently.
Must be prepared to travel 20-40%.
Conducting and involvement in Business Requirement and Analysis workshops to capture and shape a client's solution.
Provide detailed Business Analysis and support on the proposed planning process.
Provide documentation that supports the configuration and onsite activities, including Training materials as required.
Ensuring that the client solution is configured to the required standard, in line with any implementation timescales, including liaising with other Foresight Retail team members as appropriate
Test and validate the client's configured solution to ensure a match to requirements.
Provide a 2nd line support function for complex configuration and process issues.
Develop a strong, working, professional relationship with all of the customers.
Gain an understanding of all of the applications supported by the business.
Provide any support as required to ensure a successful delivery of the solution.
Support Presales activities and marketing activities.
