Costco Pharmacy is looking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Clerk for our location in South Winnipeg. This is a regular part time position - minimum 25 hours per week working 5 days.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
-Provide prompt and courteous patient service
-Take in member prescriptions gathering all necessary information
-Enter prescriptions accurately and timely with minimum supervision
-Package, label, and stock medications
-Compound mixtures and suspensions
-Answer the phone and be able to troubleshoot problems
-Communicate with members, co-workers, health care professionals and suppliers
-Retrieve filled prescriptions and process register transactions
Qualifications:
-Completion of a certified Pharmacy Technician program from an accredited institution is required
-Applicants with pharmacy experience will be given preference over other candidates
-Strong communication skills required
-Knowledge of Kroll software (or other computer/data entry skills) is an asset
Pay: $21.00-$34.40 per hour
