Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team and sit at Coleman Mine. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support and administrative assistance within our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to work in a past paced environment. Previous experience in mining a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, ensuring company records.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilize QuickBooks or company accounting software for basic accounting tasks related to customer billing and payments.
- Assist with administrative tasks including correspondence via email and managing Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Support the team with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Skills
- Previous experience in an office or as a receptionist with a mining company is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite applications is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent clerical skills, including attention to detail in data entry and filing.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
