The Content Provider for the course, Special Topics: Business Analysis IT (BUAN 0910) will work with the Design and Production team, which includes the instructional designer and production team. One virtual meeting with a program consultant and the instructional designer will take place. It is expected that the Content Provider is available for virtual meetings with the Design and Production team during the development dates which are May 29 to August 9, 2019.

- Assessment overview and individual assessments;
- Course content comprising units and activities for online and face-to-face delivery;
- A production plan; and,
- Attend on-site or virtual meetings during development timeframe.
The Special Topics: Business Analysis IT course will be 18 contact hours and will provide an introduction to the field of information technology (IT) and how IT intersects with business and management professions. As a Special Topics course, the topics addressed will vary according to current trends and events, and instructor expertise. Topics could include: internet architecture, network management and security, application and web development, database management, big data, data analytics, data mining, data modelling, predictive analytics, machine learning, software development and testing, business intelligence, business productivity tools, cloud computing and the Internet of Things.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience working in Business Analysis with expertise in the area of Information Technology. An undergraduate degree or a suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience, excellent writing skills, and working knowledge of BABOK, 3rd edition, and the concepts presented within it are required. Assets include certification with IIBA©, and experience in the development of courses and/or teaching.
