Marketing Associate

Position Desciption

Reporting to the Supervisor of Marketing Services, the Marketing Associate is responsible for administrative duties such as maintaining agency files, licensing & contracting of agents, providing administrative support to the Marketing and Agency Team and acting as a resource for the branches and contracted brokers.

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to brokers with product and/or commission inquiries
Tracking and fulfilling orders of marketing supplies, which includes flyers, posters, brochures, and product guides.
Assisting with updates to the agency system and implementing new procedures.
Providing support to other departments regarding agency inquiries.
Project work, ex: Research into regulatory requirements, updating material on company website, updating department manuals, maintaining corporate templates, and sending mass emails.
General department office assistance, which includes covering other desks during absences to order supplies, broker licensing, and providing assistance to supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to those candidates with post-secondary education specifically related business administration or commerce.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail, creative and technical skills, and ability to problem-solve.
Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with style fitting for the audience and message.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Service oriented, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
