This position will include the responsibilities of a Environmental Engineer for the type of environmental engineering services undertaken by Alpha Adroit Engineering Ltd. This position may require traveling across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Having a Class 5 driver's license is a MUST, and the candidate may be required to drive company vehicles.

having a degree in civil, geo-environmental, or geotechnical engineering or related field- preferably from a Canadian University
having passed Ethics and Law exam (APEGA's or equivalent) within three months after employment
ability to classify different local soils and rocks visually with reasonable accuracy is considered an asset
drilling experience and good knowledge of the local geology of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia is viewed as an asset
previous work experience in conducting Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Phase I and Phase II is considered an asset
The ideal candidate would also have the following requirements:
The successful candidate will be punctual and possess good character and attitude- can get along with all kinds of personalities.
The successful candidate will be a fluent English Speaker, as well as, a competent technical English writer.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Perform other related duties as required, these duties may not be under the category of environmental engineer
Minute taking and note taking skills
Time management skills
Conflict resolution skills and ability to handle difficult communications, including also client satisfaction communications, in a professional manner
