Position overview:
Work from Toronto within a multidisciplinary team of 20 professionals on a variety of stimulating engagements. Our USA-based clients include leverage lenders, private equity firms, hedge funds, major banks, and national law firms. Our consulting deals include business and operational assessments, profitability improvement, liquidity management, pre-funding diligence, and the formulation of strategic alternatives.

Our team delivers consulting services involving large USA companies in numerous industries (Retail, Distribution, Services, Manufacturing, etc.) experiencing challenges arising from over-leverage, liquidity problems, under-performance, or other business transitional/operating issues.

A day in the life of an Analyst or Associate:
Apply business, accounting, finance, and analytical skills to engagements (e.g., financial trending, modeling, ratio analysis, financial statement analysis, etc.);

Support the assessment of business plans, financial projections, and drivers;

Perform industry and company research;

Synthesize meaningful insights from large sets of data;

Contribute in the preparation of reports to clients with a strong commitment to quality;

Develop productive working relationships with client personnel;

Build strong internal relationships with members of our team;

Travel with the deal team to the USA (10-20% of the time).

Must haves:
CPA, CFA, or equivalent;

2 to 5 years of relevant work experience;

Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
