Valoroso Foods is seeking full-time Barista and Retail Professionals to join our retail location in Vancouver BC.
We import a vast variety of Italian, Spanish and other European specialties. We pride ourselves in meticulously hand-picking the best products Europe has to offer, and always at the forefront of new and exciting food trends.
Valoroso Foods directly sources traditional and new grocery items from the original producers and brings them right to the tables of our community.
The position of Barista and Retail Professional will be providing an incredible engaging in-store experience out of our coffee bar, while also working on the retail floor showcasing our incredible products to our customers and curating sales.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
- Engaging customer service
- Production of high quality cappuccinos and lattes off of our coffee bar
- Cashiering
- Personalizing the shopping experience to our customers by asking them the right questions and educating them in the process
- Actively learn about the Italian products we bring in and the story behind them
- Inventory stocking and rotation
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment in the bar area, as well as on the retail floor
- Opening and closing duties
