Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plumbing Foreman/Woman to oversee plumbing projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, schematics, and construction management software. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. The Plumbing Foreman/Woman will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring projects adhere to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation and repair work.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure plumbing work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to keep projects within financial parameters.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow on-site.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a secure work environment.
- Supervise the procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery for ongoing projects.
- Provide supervision on-site, including overseeing schematics implementation and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Document project progress, issues, and changes for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in plumbing or construction projects.
- Extensive construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, quality control processes, and safety standards effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams of varying sizes.
- Prior experience in overseeing complex projects from start to finish is highly desirable.
Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
