Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, contributing to the durability and aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, and membranes according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools including hammers, saws, and caulking guns to complete roofing tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and effectively.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs.
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing, construction, or carpentry work is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with caulking, sealing, heavy lifting, and general handyman tasks is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and performing manual labor over extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing work, including fall protection measures.
- Prior experience with blueprint reading or carpentry enhances suitability for this role.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work in various weather conditions are essential. This position is integral to delivering high-quality roofing solutions that meet client expectations while ensuring safety and efficiency on every project.

Pay: $17.20-$51.30 per hour
