Helical Pile Helper / Installer
Techno Metal Post Niagara is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team in the Niagara Region. This is a paid employee position. Not an ownership or investment required.
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a long-term career as a helical pile installer. We are looking for someone who has construction experience or is mechanically inclined, works well with their hands, and most importantly, has good common sense and is willing to learn.
Experience with helical piles is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
What we’re looking for
● Construction, landscaping, equipment, welding, or similar hands-on experience is an asset
● Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
● Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
● Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work
● Great with customers and other contractors
● Strong communication skills in person, by phone, text and email
● Valid driver’s licence with a good driving abstract
● Comfortable driving a pickup truck and trailer
● Willing to learn how to operate equipment and install helical piles safely and professionally
● Takes pride in doing quality work and leaving a clean jobsite
Opportunity for advancement
This isn’t necessarily just a part-time helper position. For the right person, there is an opportunity to learn the trade, take on more responsibility and eventually become a helical pile installer.
Techno Metal Post has a network of dealers throughout Canada and the United States, so someone who develops strong installation and customer-service skills may also have opportunities within the larger dealer network, including the possibility of relocating in the future.
We’re looking for someone local to the Niagara Region who wants to work, learn and potentially build a career with the industry.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
