Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our service department.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on various vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment used in the lube shop.
- Collaborate with other technicians in the dealership to ensure timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and dealership operations is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during service tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- A valid driver's license is required.
