**Job Summary:**
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Wine Consultant / Server to join our team. As a Wine Consultant / Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Queenston Mile guests. Starting asap.
*** Must be able to work days / nights / weekends / holidays.
**Duties:**
- Assist customers in selecting food and wines based on their preferences and occasions
- Provide detailed information about various wines, including origin, flavor profiles, and food pairings
- Conduct wine tastings to educate customers on different varieties
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in retail sales or food sales (server) preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions
- Knowledge of wine varieties and regions, as well as food pairing recommendations
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous
