Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality Coffee and Matcha beverages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position involves handling cash transactions, coffee/menu item preparations and packaging, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring quick service times.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food prep stations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols for handling food and beverages to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements
- FoodSafety Certificate
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to follow food safety standards for handling food and beverages.
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude.
