We are seeking a BIM / VDC Designer – Plumbing & Aquatic Systems to join our growing team.
Summary
We’re looking for a BIM / VDC Designer with strong plumbing and aquatic piping experience to support modeling, coordination, and fabrication workflows. You’ll develop accurate Revit models (using MEP Fabrication Parts), produce shop and spool drawings, and work closely with project managers, site teams, and other trades to ensure fully coordinated, buildable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed Revit models using MEP Fabrication Parts for plumbing and aquatic systems
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage
- Produce spool drawings, shop drawings, and installation layouts
- Support prefabrication, field crews, and constructability reviews
- Maintain BIM standards and perform QA/QC on models and drawings
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years BIM/VDC experience in plumbing or mechanical piping
- Proficient in:
- - Autodesk Revit (Fabrication Parts)
- - Navisworks Manage
- - AutoCAD / CADmep
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, slopes, clearances & installation practices
- Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and coordinate with multiple trades
Preferred Assets
- Experience with pools, aquatic systems, or specialty piping
- Fabrication modeling + spooling (ITMs)
- Familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC and Procore
- Knowledge of pipe materials, valves, pumps, and equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
