- Maintain complete truck and trailer maintenance files
- Keep maintenance records updated and organized
- Track repairs, inspections, service history, and upcoming maintenance
- Schedule trucks and trailers for regular service, safety inspections, annual inspections, and repairs
- Order truck and trailer parts as required
- Maintain proper inventory records for parts, tires, fluids, tools, and shop supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and make sure required parts are available when needed
- Coordinate with mechanics, vendors, dealerships, and outside repair shops
- Handle driver calls regarding breakdowns, repairs, trailer issues, lights, tires, reefer issues, air leaks, brakes, and other maintenance concerns
- Assist drivers with day-to-day maintenance-related needs
- Follow up on road calls and breakdowns until the issue is resolved
- Conduct fuel inspections and monitor fuel-related issues
- Track fuel card concerns, unusual fuel usage, and fuel compliance matters
- Assist with pre-trip/post-trip inspection reports and follow up on defects
- Ensure trucks and trailers are safe, roadworthy, and compliant
- Help maintain CVOR, safety, and maintenance compliance standards
- Review repair invoices and verify work completed
- Keep records of parts used, repairs completed, and costs
- Help reduce downtime by planning repairs and preventive maintenance properly
- Communicate with dispatch, drivers, safety department, and management
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance-related documentation
- Handle other duties related to fleet maintenance and safety operations as required

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
