Job Summary:
As a Software/Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our product development, collaborating with our team to implement new features and products. We're seeking an individual with a knack for problem-solving, an insatiable curiosity, and a passion for teamwork to drive our programming projects forward. This role is perfect for someone with a college education or one or more years of experience in software/web development (new graduates are welcome).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize your programming and scripting skills to develop robust software
- Collaborate with the design team to understand client needs and propose solutions
- Foster clear communication with team members and clients to ensure project alignment and success
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks and projects
- Uphold professional standards of conduct in all interactions and deliverables.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of front-end web applications, crafting engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate in the design of user interactions on web pages, optimizing usability and functionality.
- Contribute to the development of back-end website applications, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Work closely with graphic designers and engineers to implement web and software design features that align with project goals.
- Demonstrate agility in completing assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Flask).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with APIs, Python, PHP a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud deployment platforms
