Bear River Plastic Welding Inc. is hiring a dependable General Labourer to assist with building and installing docks. This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a small, hardworking team. The ideal candidate is physically fit, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and installation of docks
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials
- Operate basic tools and machinery following safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Perform other general labour tasks as required
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Perform general physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items of varying weights
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety and detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed

- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.

This is a full time seasonal position, with work available during the warmer months with the opportunity to return each season.
